Hello, my name is Bethan Collier.
I am a Person- Centred Counsellor and the Founder of Herefordshire Counselling.
I am passionate about offering individuals a safe, supportive space to explore and process the stress and strain of modern life, as well as life changing events.
I currently hold a Certificate of Higher Education in Psychology, a Foundation Degree in Counselling, and have a decade of frontline and management experience in mental health, homelessness, substance misuse and offending services.
My previous work with Shelter and Birmingham Changing Futures Together, is a prime example of my commitment to championing people’s abilities to overcome adversity, commit to change and improve their future. You can read more about what that work involved here.
Alongside Herefordshire Counselling, I am a volunteer counsellor for Herefordshire Mind and West Mercia Rape and Sexual Assault Support Centre.
Whether you're curious about counselling or ready to take that first step, I am keen to listen and provide you with a safe space to explore your feelings and behaviours with a trauma informed, person-centred approach.
I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and proud advocate of the Chronic illness community.
