Helen Horton
Associate Person-Centred Counsellor - Helen Horton Counselling
I am a Person-Centred Counsellor who firmly believes that given the right space to explore and challenge your thoughts and
feelings, you can grow as a person and be supported to find your way through life’s
difficulties.
I recently graduated with a Top-up degree in Health and Social Care, and I hold a Foundation degree in Counselling.
I began my counselling career relatively late in life, after redundancy gave me the
opportunity to rethink my life’s purpose. My previous roles include Bank Clerk, Registered Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, and Leadership and Management roles.
This has given me a wealth of experience working alongside people from all walks of
life.
I have a particular interest in how our childhood experiences impact our later life and relationships. I am also interested in the complexities of neurodiversity, especially for those diagnosed as adults, as I understand how challenging this can be.
I am currently available for appointments in person Leominster and online.

Lisa Johnson
Associate Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist - Auralis Psychotherapy
I am a Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist in advanced training, with a postgraduate Level 7 psychotherapy qualification and a background in Counselling. I bring over 30 years of experience in person-centred corporate roles, giving me a strong understanding of the emotional impact of change across a range of contexts. Retraining as a psychotherapist felt like a natural progression toward supporting people in more personal and meaningful ways.
My work is grounded in Transactional Analysis, a powerful evidence-based approach that explores how early life experiences shape patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating in adulthood. Developing awareness of these patterns can help identify what no longer serves, opening up new possibilities for choice, authenticity, and fulfilment.
I work with anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. I have a particular interest in trauma-informed practice and in supporting neurodivergent individuals. I am especially drawn to work shaped by early experiences, including recurring relational patterns, inner critical voices, feeling stuck, and long held beliefs. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, supporting deeper self understanding.
I am currently available for face to face appointments in Hereford.

Stephanie Jones
Associate Integrative Counsellor - Hereford Counselling
I have been working as a therapeutic counsellor since 2008. I trained in North London, beginning my career working with people who had experienced loss and grief.
I have also worked within a substance misuse charity in Hertfordshire and worked for both the NHS and MIND throughout G.P, surgeries in Essex and East London.
My education and training enhances my ability and interests in working with anxiety, attachment, somatic family constellations, sexual violence, child abuse and dissociation. My lived experience of caring for family members enhances my empathy and understanding for people caring for others, especially those with Alzheimers and Dementia.
One of the most rewarding aspects of working as a counsellor for nearly twenty years is seeing how clients heal, blossom and learn to nurture themselves after coming to therapy it has been a pleasure to work with people who have come along with heavy hearts and leave feeling recovered".
I offer face to face appointments in Hereford and online.
